Change Log

The Change Log is the public history of every AdmCloud version: which improvements were added and which bugs were fixed, version by version, with its publication date. It lets you see what changed since the last time you used the system, without having to ask support.

Available to all users

What is it and what is it for?

AdmCloud is updated constantly. Every time a new version is published, the team records its changes here in two categories:

  • Improvement: a new feature or an adjustment that extends or improves something that already existed.
  • Bug: the fix for an error or incorrect behavior found in an earlier version.

This is a read-only screen: there are no forms or data-entry buttons. It simply lists, from the most recent version to the oldest, the changes published in each one along with its publication date.

How to use it

  1. Open it from the footer. The current system version number appears at the bottom of every AdmCloud screen; click it to open the Change Log in a new tab.
  2. Find your version. Each block in the list corresponds to a version, identified by its number and publication date.
  3. Check the labels. Each change has a colored label indicating whether it's an IMPROVEMENT or a BUGFIX, followed by a short description of what changed.

What information is shown

Data What it is
VersionThe number of the published AdmCloud version.
DateThe date that version was published.
Label (Improvement / Fix)Indicates whether the change is a new feature/improvement or a bug fix.
DescriptionA summary of what the change consisted of, written in plain language for any user to understand.
TicketThe support request number where the change was requested (e.g. Ticket 00021015). It only appears on changes that come from a ticket.

Availability and conditions

  • This screen is available to every user, on every plan: it requires no special permission, active module or enabled preference.
  • Bug-type changes that have no support ticket number attached are hidden from client-company users; only AdmCloud's internal team can see them. If a version has no remaining visible changes after this filter, that version simply doesn't appear in your list. Improvement-type changes are always shown, whether or not they have a ticket.
  • AdmCloud's internal team ("ForTech" users) also sees extra information that isn't available to client companies: filters to show only changes without a ticket, the development branch where each change was first applied, and the QA testing documentation attached to each change. None of this affects what a regular user sees.

Tips and common pitfalls

💡

Reported a bug and want to confirm it was fixed? Look in the Change Log for the version published after your report; if the bug had a support ticket attached, it will show up there with the BUGFIX label and the ticket number.

ℹ️

The version number in the footer always leads here. It's the fastest way to confirm which AdmCloud version you're currently using and what's new in it.
