Complete Guide: Feature Comparison by Plan

AdmCloud is licensed by plan, and the plan determines which features you see, which limits apply to you (users, transactions, warehouses) and which modules you can turn on. This guide explains how that mechanism works under the hood and presents the detailed, feature-by-feature comparison of every plan available today, plus the discontinued plans that some companies still run on.

Topic: Plans and features Informational

How plans work under the hood

Every company is assigned a plan. When you sign in, AdmCloud computes the set of enabled features for that company and keeps it for the whole session. From then on, every screen, menu and button checks that set: if a feature is not enabled, the option simply does not appear in the menu and the screen stays blocked even if you type the address by hand.

That set is built in four layers, in this order:

  1. The contracted plan. It sets the baseline: which features are included and which numeric limits apply (users, transactions per month, warehouses, currencies, price levels).
  2. The contracted modules (Enterprise only). Enterprise does not come as a fixed bundle: it is assembled to measure by turning on the modules the company needs — Accounting, Inventory, Payroll, Manufacturing, CRM, Projects, Service, Fixed Assets and so on.
  3. Per-company add-ons. Some features are contracted separately and do not depend on the plan: electronic invoicing, unit-of-measure conversion, credit card payments, project budgets, and the additional licenses (point of sale, payroll employees, subsidiaries, read-only users).
  4. Feature switches. New or country-specific features that are turned on by request, company by company, without changing the plan. These never add anything the plan does not allow: they can only hold back or delay a feature the plan already includes.
ℹ️

The feature set is computed when you sign in and cached for the whole session. If you just changed plan or turned on a module and do not see the change, sign out and sign back in.

Packaged plans versus the tailored plan

There are two ways to license AdmCloud, and they behave differently:

Type How it works
Packaged plans
Invoices, Start, Basic, Standard, Premium, Premium Plus, Premium Plus Payroll, Premium Plus Manufacturing
They come with a fixed set of features and closed numeric limits. The price is monthly and public, and switching from one plan to another is immediate and self-service from within the application. Individual modules cannot be turned on: to get more functionality you move up a plan.
Enterprise Not a bundle but a tailored configuration. It is licensed by module and by user license, and practically every numeric limit is unlimited. The price depends on the combination contracted. It is the only plan with multi-subsidiary support, advanced customization (fields, forms, pages, scripts) and advanced reporting.

How to read the comparison

In the table below, each cell uses one of these marks:

Mark Meaning
✓Included in the plan at no extra cost.
—Not available on that plan.
ModuleAvailable on Enterprise by turning on the matching module. If the module is not contracted, the feature does not appear.
Add-onContracted separately and works with any plan that allows it; it is not included by default.
LicenseBought per unit (additional users, subsidiaries, payroll employees, point-of-sale terminals).
On requestAvailable on Enterprise, but enabled company by company on request (a recent or country-specific feature).
UnlimitedNo practical cap. For users and licenses it means you can buy as many as you need.
💡

The table scrolls horizontally. The first column stays pinned, so you can drag it sideways without losing sight of the feature name.

The Enterprise plan in detail

In the table above, the Enterprise column shows Module on many rows. That means the feature exists but only appears if the matching module is contracted. These are the modules that can be turned on:

  • Core — accounting, banks, purchases, accounts receivable and payable, checks, purchase orders, cost centers.
  • Billing — credit and cash invoices, sales orders, quotes, recurring invoices.
  • Budgeting — accounting budget and budget control.
  • Advanced financials — DuPont analysis, statistical accounts and allocations.
  • Inventory and Advanced inventory — from basic inventory up to lots, serials, bins and attributes.
  • WMS — advanced warehouse management with picking, packing and shipping.
  • Manufacturing and Advanced manufacturing — bills of materials, production, work centers, WIP, quality assurance, MPS/MRP.
  • Payroll and Human Resources.
  • Projects and Advanced projects — includes project budget and work plan.
  • Construction, Service and industrial Maintenance.
  • Fixed Assets.
  • CRM.
  • e-Commerce — web store.
  • TMS — transportation and prices by destination.
  • Advanced sales — customer portal and customer branches.
  • Advanced purchases, Demand planning, Incentives and Direct database access.

Enterprise is also the only plan with multi-subsidiary support: several subsidiaries inside the same company, with real-time financial consolidation. Subsidiaries are bought per license; see Subsidiaries.

ℹ️

A group of features marked On request are recent or country-specific features enabled company by company. If you need one, ask support: it does not require a plan change.

Discontinued plans

The following plans can no longer be purchased, but keep working for the companies that still run on them. If you are on one of them, this is how it maps to the current plans:

Discontinued plan How it differs from the current plan
Basic (Legacy) 1 user instead of 2, a single currency and a single price level, no inventory, no cash invoices and no Web API.
Standard (Legacy) Up to 3 currencies, 3 price levels and 3 warehouses (versus unlimited and 10 on the current Standard), and no Web API.
Premium (Legacy) Up to 5 currencies and 5 price levels (versus unlimited), and no Web API.
Premium Limited Designed for accounting firms: 10 accountant users and 3 standard users. It has Premium's scope but without kits, divisions, projections, sales orders, brands, item families, AI document registration, file cabinet folders or the Web API.
Premium Plus e-Commerce Premium Plus with the web store included. The current equivalent is Enterprise with the e-Commerce module.
Premium Plus CRM Premium Plus with CRM included. The current equivalent is Enterprise with the CRM module.
Standard Plus Payroll Retired plan. Companies that need payroll should use Premium Plus Payroll or Enterprise with the payroll module.

How to check your plan and how to change it

  1. Your active plan and the comparison against the other plans are shown inside the application, on the Plan Comparison screen, reached from the company settings.
  2. From that same screen, the Switch to this plan button makes the change immediately between packaged plans. The price is adjusted on the next billing cycle.
  3. To move to Enterprise, or to turn on modules, additional licenses or features marked On request, you need to contact the sales team: it is not a self-service change.
  4. After any change, sign out and sign back in so the new features show up in the menus.
⚠️

Downgrading can make already-recorded information unreachable. For example, if you move from a plan with inventory to one without it, the items and their stock remain in the database but you stop seeing the screens that manage them. Before downgrading, review which features you are actually using.

Frequently asked questions

Question Answer
I contracted the plan but I cannot see a feature listed in the table. First sign out and sign back in: features are computed at sign-in. If it still does not show up, check your user group permissions in User Groups: the plan enables the feature, but the user group decides who may use it.
What happens if I exceed the monthly transaction limit? The limit is monthly and resets every month. As you approach the cap, the right move is to upgrade; packaged plans go up to 3,000 transactions per month and Enterprise has no cap.
Do accountant users consume licenses? No. They are additional to the standard users and carry no cost. Enterprise allows an unlimited number.
Do I need Enterprise to run several companies? No. Several companies can be run on any plan; each one is licensed separately. What requires Enterprise is having several subsidiaries inside one company with financial consolidation.
Is electronic invoicing included in any plan? No. It is contracted separately and works with any plan; the price depends on volume and country.
Can I customize printed documents on any plan? Yes. Custom printing formats are included in every plan. See the Complete Guide: Customizing Printing Formats.
From which plan can I integrate AdmCloud with another system? From Basic upwards, through the Web API. See the Complete Guide: Using the Web API.
