AI Report Generator
The AI Report Generator lets you ask for the information you need from your company by typing your request in plain language (in English or Spanish), just as you would ask a person, without needing to know table names, field names or technical filters. The artificial intelligence interprets your request, queries your data in AdmCloud and returns the corresponding report.
What is it and what is it for?
Instead of navigating to the specific report you need and configuring its filters manually, this tool lets you describe in your own words what information you're looking for (for example, "show me last month's sales grouped by customer" or "which vendor bills do I have pending payment that are due this week?"). The AI interprets the request, looks up the information within your company's data in AdmCloud, and presents it to you as a report.
It is especially useful for users who don't know exactly where a given report lives in the system, or who need a one-off query that doesn't correspond exactly to any of the predefined reports.
How to use it
- Open the screen. Go to AI Report Generator from the system menu. The screen is marked with a Beta label, since the feature is still evolving.
- Describe what you need. Type your request in plain language, with as much detail as possible (what information you're looking for, for what period, grouped by what criteria, etc.). The clearer and more specific your description, the more accurate the result.
- Review the result. The tool queries your data and shows you the generated report. If the result isn't exactly what you were looking for, adjust your description and try again, adding or clarifying conditions.
Availability, plan and permissions
- This feature requires the Enterprise plan. If your plan does not include it, the option won't appear in the menu.
- Access is controlled by the "Customization" permission on the user group.
- This is a Beta feature: it is still under development and its behavior may change over time.
Tips and common pitfalls
Be specific in your request. Clearly state the period, the entity (customer, vendor, item, account, etc.) and how you want the information grouped or sorted, so the AI can better understand what you need.
Not getting the expected result? Since this is an AI-based feature, rephrasing your request in different words often improves the result. If the problem persists, contact AdmCloud support.
Don't see the option in the menu? This feature is exclusive to the Enterprise plan and requires the "Customization" permission. If your company should have it enabled and it's not showing up, contact AdmCloud support.
